ABOUT ME

Hmm where to start...I guess I am a good example of "Don`t judge a book by its cover", because I often surprise people once they get to know me. Some people think I am the funniest thing on Earth, some people think I have an annoying laugh and talk too much. Some people disagree on both things, and instead say I am a great friend who will always have their back. Others cannot believe how innocent I am at my age, and others are surprised at my maturity and wisdom at my age(hey I am just quoting them, haha). Either way I think you should get to know me and decide for yourself what I am about. I will try to make it worth your time, I promise =)

NOTE: Just so you know, pretty much everything on this page (including the photo), with some small exceptions, were made during one sleepy night in Quebec City when I was 21. I am now (insert age written at profile). This means everything here may no longer be valid. I guess you will really have to meet me in person for an accurate perception ;)

PHILOSOPHY

When I have one, I will write a book about it. Until then...

The world is made up of many shades of greys, not just black and white.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - anything pleasant to the ears: acoustic folk/indie/jazz/R&B/bozza nova/slight amounts of heavy rock/slight amounts of rap/pop/etc
Movies - most often foreign films, as well as indies and some academy winners. Not quite favorite, but the closest thing - Forrest Gump. Another movie which I can watch again and again - Into the Wild. Still looking for a tearjerker...
Books - Any good recommendations?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If I can recall, I saw someone sticking their whole fist into their mouth. You try doing it and then tell me it's not amazing.

Busing on greyhound from Montreal to Vancouver (approx. 5000 km) straight for 3 days with my head still attached, hahaha...
...and then repeating the experience again 2 years after, this time there and back
...third time is the charm, 2011 ;)

Being in the presence of Mother Nature. Its beauty reduces me to a small particle. On that topic...The most incredible sunset at Tazawako (the deepest lake in Japan)

The ridiculous situations I get into when travelling (ask me) but the kindness I receive from strangers/locals in the situations. + points for humankind!

How to make Jello:

1) Open a packet of flavored jello powder. You can choose any flavour
2) Pour powder into container
3) Add hot water, about half a cup. Stir to dissolve
4) Add cool water, about half a cup.
5) Put in fridge, wait at least 4 hours for semi-solid jello. Wait until next day for best results, and if you can`t wait you may as well drink it up.
