HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've traveled with people in the US, but I'd like to change that soon! I've received so much generosity from people and am eager to re-pay by hosting more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had the good fortune to meet several wonderful hosts throughout the eastern half of the country. The folks I've hosted haven't been through Couchsurfing. I'm eager to host more and show off my favorite New England towns.

Interests

Folk music, chamber music, local lore... different cultures... philosophy... the lives and work of (women) artists... how people arrange their lives, express themselves, make decisions, and the habits they develop and the stories they tell...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've witnessed young children grieve the death of a parent. Their expression of joy, sadness and many emotions in between is beautiful and wrenching.
And little things--people singing together.

Teach, Learn, Share

I delight in each person's unique talents and idiosyncratic knowledge. And it's flattering when others find something to learn from me.
Vegetarian cooking and baking, needlework (a tad), and the fine points of English grammar are some things I'd feel more confident "teaching."
I'd love to learn how to knit and rock climb and drive a motorcycle. Italian, better French, and more Latin are also things I'd like to know. Also the tango, prosody, Spanish, fine-pastry cookery, marketing, oil painting, oh the list goes on...
