ABOUT ME

I'm Peruvian, Fulbright Scholar, currently enrolled in an MA Program in Sustainable International Development, in Brandeis University (Massachusetts). I love travelling, meeting new people and visiting new places. Sort of a wanderluster, but with my two feet on the ground.

Music, Movies, and Books

Hable con ella (Almodovar), Memento, Common Suspects, Eternal sunshine of a spotless mind, Los amantes del Circulo Polar, Ciudad De Dios, Requiem for a dream... etc, etc, etc.
Music hmm.. Joaquin Sabina, Fito Paez, Andres Calamaro, Soda Stereo, The Cure, The Strokes, Blur, Arctic Monkeys, Bob Dylan... those are my favorites, but I actually listen pretty much everything.
I love Paul Auster, also Gabriel García Márquez, Tabucchi, Bryce..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swim in La Laguna Azul, in Tarapoto, Perú. Amazing! I was surrounded by mountains all covered with vegetation, and I could hear the noises of the animals.. It was fantastic!
Staying in a lodge in the middle of the jungle, in Iquitos, Perú. I participated in a lot of excursions, ate delicious traditional food, fished pirañas, swam in the river, with lizards! ok, they were baby lizards, but still.. and I saw the pink dolphin, an endangered specie. I absolutely loved riding in the peke-peke with the locals..

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make pisco sour, it's a traditional peruvian cocktail, and some typical peruvian plates (peruvian food is famous worldwide!). I also love talking about my country, and wouldn't mind trying to teach spanish!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Peru
