One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to Khunjerab Pass on Pak-China border. The road from Sust (last pakistani town before the border) till the border itself is eerie in a positive sense. Dark clouds hovering over you. Rain drops turning into ice. Icy winds. When you reach the border, you feel as if you are at the top of the world. As if you have conquered the whole world. There is silence all around. When you step into China, you suddenly realize how much effort was put in by the two nations to build this highway. So many lives were lost......
