ABOUT ME

Singing, talking, eating, sleeping, traveling, learning Japanese - just some of the many things I love to do.

I aspire to be a singer, though my ambition isn't as strong as it once was. We all have dreams, but as we grow we tend to think less of our dreams and be practical, don't we? I guess it's life.

I might look or behave like an introvert most of the time, but I actually quite love talking when given the chance to.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd love to host, but that'll have to wait till I get my own place to live. :( For now, I'm open to hanging out, or just simply talking over coffee.

Music, Movies, and Books

「世界の中心で愛を叫ぶ」and「１リットルの涙」are among my favorites for Japanese movies/TV series so far. Not really a fan of big popular movies like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, or Stephanie Meyer's series etc. The movies I like are usually not well-liked by others. Do I have bad taste? Haha.

I have very wide taste in music. Classical, oldies, pop, and what not - I listen to both mainstream and non-mainstream. Just anything that would connect with me musically would be great. :) I play the piano too, and would love learning how to play the guitar.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'll never forget the beautiful sunset I saw at Alishan. The view was spectacular - neat rows of fluffy clouds and the thinning orangey horizon. It was so hard to leave the area when it was time to. I wish I had a view like that everyday.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love singing with friends at karaoke! Some of the things I could share and teach about include speaking Mandarin, playing the piano, etc.

I sure do wanna pick up the guitar and perfect my speaking skills in Japanese, so be my teacher if you can!! :)
