ABOUT ME

-Inquisitive and care free. I take life as it comes, but I try not to miss out on any opportunities.
-Love music, good food, movies, pubs and of course travelling.
-I may look like a recluse, a guy who carries his own satchel. But if you know me more, im a lot of fun. :P

New in Belgium and a novice to the couchsurfing experience. But not a novice in travelling. I grew up in the city of Pune, India and I have travelled far, wide and high across India.

Now, i have the opportunity to live in Belgium, in Mechelen. Hence , i would love to travel to as many places as i can, meet as many people as i can, and possibly make good friends along the way!

So, here I am.. Where do we go now?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well Im novice to couch surfing, but i have come across couchsurfers back in India and have had an amazing experience.
Be it at showing them the city, going for a concert or cooking Indian food ;)
Also i have had very kind hosts in Budapest and Paris, who welcomed me and made me feel at home! Also they took me around their cities and introduced me to their friends. Ive had an amazing experience so far!

Music, Movies, and Books

MOVIES - Lots of horror and gore, comedy, documentaries and any movie with Meryl Streep in it! I know. :P

MUSIC- Basically anything that is not noise. Love different kinds of music. What I listen in mostly governed by my mood :D
If I were to pick a few artist, they would be -
Imogen Heap, The XX, Tiesto, Damien Rice, Tori Amos, R.E.M, Poets of the fall, Amy Winehouse, Sander Van Doorn, Stevie Wonder, Adele, B.B. King, Abba, Madonna

BOOKS-All kinds, especially the ones that put me to sleep.
i do like the concept of reading books, but for the reason of what i am, i dont! Though i will like this to change :P

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in a dark and damp cave for two days in a mountain range - thats was truly a back-to-the-stone-age kinda experience!
Sitting on an elephant which was tied to a tree in a forest because it had killed someone in the past. Well that too :D
Walking through the streets of Rome at 3AM, climbing the castle hill in Budapest, running behind chinkaras in India, climbing treacherous mountains in the monsoon rains, witnessed Damien Rice at a concert hall.. oh many more pages yet to be filled!
