About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel Across Europe

ABOUT ME

Currently reside in Brooklyn, and am a North Eastern United States native. Rather excited to backpack across Europe [the first of many adventures, I hope]. I've investigated several career ideas-- from law school to dean of a college to learning wine collecting-- and am looking into starting my own business.

I'm open-minded, relaxed, flexible, comfortable with spontaneity, and thoughtful. Let's hang out?

PHILOSOPHY

Live minimally, respect other people, work hard for what you want, and remember to relax.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

First: surf across Europe
Second [upon return]: will offer my couch to fellow surfers.

Give and take, y'all.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only with friends and friends of friends, never through a network like this. I've always had a great time-- it's very fun and interesting staying with people who know the location.

Interests

Start ups, technology, wine, literature, stand-up comedy, improving my Spanish, living minimally, agriculture & vineyards & viticulture, politics (like feminism, social justice, all things queer) [would love to chat about domestic and foreign politics with people not from the US].

Recently, my focus shifted to being mindful and simply listening to others. There's so much chatter and grasping for space, and I'm yielding it during my travels to learn as much from others as possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stood at the highest observatory point on the Rocky Mountains. The base was near 90F degrees, but the peaks still had snow. We were so high no trees grew and you could spot the moose in the shallow valleys looking for drinking water.

Teach, Learn, Share

Want to Learn: Fluency in Spanish, computer coding, how to bootstrap a business

Can Teach/Talk About: US Gov't structure, politics and constitutionalism, NYC, collegiate institutions, social media marketing... but I know a little about a lot of things. Ask?

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, United States
