About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live to Explore, Explore to Live

ABOUT ME

I live for adventures! Give me mountain ranges and red canyons to explore and I am a happy girl. I love rock climbing, running, cycling, have attempted ice climbing and high trapeze, backpacking, hiking, mountaineering, and canyoneering. I also enjoy leisurely activities such as slacklining, hula hooping, yoga, photography, beer and wine tasting, balancing, cooking, painting, crocheting, reading, gardening, eating Indian cuisine, elephants, and fresh fruit and veggies. I always enjoy trying new random things! I dream of owning my own wellness retreat and providing low-income families with fresh food from my organic gardens.

PHILOSOPHY

"Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not."-Ralph Waldo Emerson

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to numerous National Parks in California. Backpacked for a week in Yosemite, explored Sequoia and Kings canyon, Grand Canyon, climbing in Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Kentucky, ice climbed in Minnesota, climbed Ancient Art in Utah (the tower on the City Bank commercial), canyoneered in Blue John Canyon (the canyon Aaron Ralston was stick in (127 hrs movie)), mountaineered the continental divide in Loveland Pass, CO, climbed 14ers in Sangre de Cristo Mt Range in CO. I have been to many National Parks in Virginia and backpacked in Costa Rica for two weeks last winter.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn from anyone and everyone! I am very open-minded, strongly opinionated, but open to change when I hear a good argument and I always listen to people's opinions. I am a patient and calm person, but am energetic and excited to try things. I am generous and like to share.
