ABOUT ME
I was born in Hong Kong but have lived in California most of my life and am now studying Public Health at UC Berkeley and have always loved traveling. It started off with going on tours with my family but in high school i learned to love traveling with a guidebook and through meeting locals. I love the nature as much as I love being in the city's crowds (occasionally) of at events.
PHILOSOPHY
It's hard to push outside of your comfort zone, but I find that my most memorable experiences were always the ones where the first step was the most difficult - so just push through!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't had any couchsurfing experience yet, but my friends recommended it to me for my travels to Brazil since I'll be needing help getting around with the language and because I really wanted to meet local Brazilians!
Interests
One of the things I like best is getting to other cultures through local festivities and especially their food! I generally love water sports and being close to the ocean.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Nicaragua where I spent 2 months in a rural community - waking up with the sun, living right next to the animals and seeing the farm life was an eyeopening experience.
Going to San Pedro de Atacama and seeing all the natural beauty in such a dry area was beautiful. My favorite there was sandboarding.
