Go to some "Pueblo". From the city center u can go by train or bus to beautiful places, u can see Gauchos, drink mate, and know too much better BA. (One or two hours):
-San Antonio de Areco (go with your tent)
-San Pedro (go with your tent)
-Carlos Keen

Go to the beach. From the city center (5 or 6 hours). Go with your tent. Those places are where argentinian turist go, but u can see tradicional style of summer time in ARG:
-Mar del Plata (beach-surf-skate-night)
-San Bernardo (beach-night-young people)
-Villa Gesell (beach-night-young people)
-Santa Teresita (less turist, smaller, u will fell like 90`)
-Mar del Tuyu (more less turist, smaller, u will fell like 90`)

the good part is that all those place are near, so if u rent a car....you will be very happy.

-Almagro(near to palermo, and more cheap)

-Congreso (its not bad, but is no so easygoing. you are near from Calle Corrientes(upnight at 00.30,Obelisco(nothing to do),Puerto Madero(good but no also))
-http://hostelsol.com.ar/ Is in Constitucion, its no the best place but so near from everywhere. The hostel is amezing, strange but so good! I really recomend!
