ABOUT ME

After graduating college exhausted, burnt out, and searching for something outside academia, I decided to dedicate myself to learning Spanish, and to traveling as much as possible while I still can. This meant going above and beyond what I had learned during my time in college, but actually moving to Spain, submerging myself in the culture, and truly mastering it.

The one constant in my life is my love for traveling and exploration, cooking good food, dancing, and meeting people who love to do the same. I've lived in Germany, Argentina, and Thailand, and now Palma de Mallorca, and soon Madrid. I feel my best when I stay active, I love to run, hike, do yoga in general be outside. I love animals (especially dogs and horses) and I have infinite wanderlust.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In Mallorca I went to a lot of CS events which was a great way to make some amazing friends! Unfortunately I didnt have enough space in the apartment to host...hopefully once I get to Madrid in September I can have enough room to host at least one person per night.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed here my first two nights in Palma while looking for an apartment to live in, it was a great experience!

My second night in town in Mallorca I went to a Couchsurfing event at a local bar in Palma. I was immediately welcomed into the community and met almost all of my current friends there, such a great community of people here, I feel so lucky!

right now I listen to a lot of electro...but I love salsa music, alternative, musicals, kind of everything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most amazing thing on my list is playing games with Burmese refugee orphans in Thailand. Bringing joy to someone who has already had such a hard life at a young age was something I'll never forget and always cherish.
Went zip-linning in Argentina which was terrifying and amazing at the same time.
Hiking in Alaska and seeing bears everywhere. I love seeing wildlife when I go hiking, and I think Alaska is the most beautiful place I've ever been.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a pretty good cook and I love to pass on my favorite recipes to people who are interested. I can teach English, and Portuguese. I have a basic knowledge of yoga which I would be happy to pass on.
