About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Be young and foolish in new places.
ABOUT ME
I'm brand new to couchsurfing and haven't traveled much. This little town is great but I can't help feeling there are interesting people and beautiful places somewhere else, and I want to find them. I have a quick, sarcastic, sometimes nerd-based sense of humor, and a love for making all sorts of people smile.
PHILOSOPHY
Live and love fearlessly.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far, I just skim profiles and send requests. Looking to go to San Francisco really soon, will update this after that happens.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None at all.
Interests
Lots and lots. I've changed majors at school about 7 times, I just can't pick one! Science, art, movies, music, languages, psychology, politics, history... I'm interested in everything as long as it isn't being sold to me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, Imagine Dragons, Queen, Fun, Hugo, Tracy Chapman, Irish folk music, lots more...
Movies: Just saw Les Miserables, that was an emotional roller coaster. I usually like movies that make me think, like Fight Club, The Illusionist, and Ocean's Eleven. I also love me something pretty to look at: Avatar (the blue people one), the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit, Black Swan, The Avengers. DISCLAIMER: There is a vast gap in my movie-watching experience. I've never seen a lot of classics. Pulp Fiction, for example. Also The Godfather.
Books: I'm terrible at finishing books. Currently reading the Hitchhiker's Guide series, Room Full of Mirrors (a bio of Jimi Hendrix), The Hobbit (for like the 8th time), and American Gods
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watched a lady play the violin in a mosh pit once. That was pretty cool.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've dabbled in 7 degree programs, so I'm pretty good at trivia. Also mediocre at conversational French, drawing, sewing, and baking pies.
I've always wanted to learn how to surf. First, I probably ought to learn to swim.
