ABOUT ME

Hi there! My name is Jenn and I love to travel and meet cool people. My current city is San Francisco and I moved here four years ago from a ski town in Colorado (Telluride if you're wondering). Traveling for me started at an early age and I've been to most of the states in the US and my last big trip was to Croatia. I think my best friends would say I'm fun, down-to-earth, smart, loyal and an excellent cook.

I love to show people around my city, give people directions and take pictures for groups. I also think it's good karma to be nice to people.

Interests

I'm from a big family so I love to entertain and feed people. In my opinion variety is the spice of life so I like to be busy. I do this by cooking good meals for friends/family, photographing stuff that's interesting around the city, riding my bike/going for a run or going out with friends to dinner, art openings or going dancing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: West of Kabul, East of NY; Confessions of an Economic Hitman; Jitterbug Perfume; Still Life with Woodpecker.

Music: Love live music and singer/songwriters, not a huge fan of techno. Ben Harper, Otis Redding, Paulo Nutini, Bananarama, Citizen Cope, Billie Holiday, The Black Keys and Girltalk.

Food: Love experimenting by turning comfort foods into something healthy. My signature dishes are turkey meatloaf and veggie enchiladas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Since I'm a photographer, I'm fascinated by light so Im a big fan of sunrises/sunsets. The most gorgeous sunset I have ever seen was in Cavtat, Croatia while watching a water polo match at dusk. The runner up was being on a roof top cafe in Prague and seeing the sun set on all those gorgeous clay roofs while drinking the most amazing Pilsner I've ever had.
