About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To spend a year living in Buenos Aires!

ABOUT ME

I'm currently living in Buenos Aires for a year with my boyfriend, who's Argentinian. This year is all about discovering the culture, the language, the food, and the people. We'll be travelling a bit but generally fixed here in the capital and I'm keen to make my own little network of friends, so send me a message if you fancy un cerveza.

Prior to this, I lived in London for six incredible years. It's the most amazing, energetic place, and it's full of many of the people I love the most.

I also spent 3 months living in Cape Town last year. What a stunning city and an enviable way of life. Never a dull view in the place!

I travel to Africa with work quite regularly. In the past couple of years I've been lucky enough to visit Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya and South Africa. Next trip is July, to Ghana via the UK and a festival or two.

PHILOSOPHY

Smile. smile. smile. The rest will follow!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just looking to meet new people, hear new tales and share a vino tinto or two.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have some couch surfer experience from London and Cape Town but have never actually hosted.

Interests

I'm a very sociable and active person. I love cycling (I need to find a bike in BA!). I'm also a keen runner and like to climb now and then. Would be keen to know of sports opportunities in BA. Might try and find a yoga class and take up swing dance.

I love live music, especially Balkan, so any chance to for a dance to something live will get my vote. I love travelling and soaking up other cultures...I studied social anthropology once upon a moon and my work now keeps that flame burning thankfully.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once paraglided over the Himalayas and was visited by an inquisitive Eagle whilst up there. That was a high in life, in every sense.
