About Me

PHILOSOPHY

"Love all; include all; relegate none. We all carry too much pain as it is to want to cause any more." -Amanda Palmer

I believe that humans are inherently very social and empathetic, we are a species that relies on constant cooperation to survive. Sometimes we need to be independent and alone, but we can't keep that up forever and expect to thrive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I can I host, and when I can't I love to meet up and give suggestions about my city - unfortunately I don't feel like I have a city at the moment, since I haven't settled in anywhere yet. I also couchsurf, use hangouts, and attent meetups.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's been quite a few good years years since I joined this magnificent website! I've surfed with, met, and hosted so many wonderful people, and I look forward to more!

Interests

I enjoy: literature, good conversation, fashion, makeup art, good television, politics (of the Marxist sort), finding hole-in-the-wall establishments, and good food.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ukulele jam sessions are very welcome, as long as you don't mind my lack of rythm too much. Otherwise, I would like to learn whatever you might have to teach me, so even if the skill doesn't stick, at least I'll have learned something about you.

As far as teaching, I give great makeup lessons, mediocre Hebrew lessons, and I'm always up for talking Marxism.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Great conversation and a decent meal.
