About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning German in one year!

ABOUT ME

Hi My name is Takuya, nice to meet you!

Currently I am a undergraduate student in New York.
Traveling around the world, learning different cultures through learning languages and meeting new people, and
gaining an immeasurable amount of knowledge have been the three things that I have always valued and have always wanted to do. Regarding learning languages, it really captures my heart and I am always fascinated by what it brings me.
I invest my time, my energy and my enthusiasm in who I truly want to become and what I truly want to see in my life.
I am originally from Japan, so I speak Japanese and English, and I hope to learn many more in the future.
My current goal is to learn German very well by the end of this summer!
If you would like to practice speaking English or Japanese, just skype me! I would love to help!

PHILOSOPHY

I want to live the greatest life possible.

The quality of the moment creates the quality of your life, then seize the moment. Only my actions can shape my destiny.

Always be ambitious, always be thankful, always be enthusiastic, always be happy, always be the best possible. I do what I do with all my heart.

Every day I have this great opportunity to be fully able to chase my passion and pursue my dream. I would like to express my gratitude by living at my highest potential each day and by learning as much as possible until the moment I am not here.

Health is the most important. Without it, I cannot create the greatest life.

Nothing great comes suddenly. Patience, consistency, and persistency are very important.

I always want to contribute to the well-being of others by doing what I am truly passionate about.

Never spend money on things that I don't really care about. Instead I spend money only on what I truly want.

Body Reason Mind
The body allows me to take actions. I need logical reasons why I need take actions. But I believe a logical reason alone doesn’t create the greatest enthusiasm and power. Passionate mind fuels the reason and makes the body take greater actions. The result becomes exceptionally extraordinary.

I always strive to become better

Q Some say what we are seeking is a meaning for life. But I believe what we are really looking for is experiences of being alive. What makes you feel alive? What are the things that really touch your heart?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

What I am looking for on Couchsurfing:
I am looking for language partners to learn German more. I believe learning a language with somebody from a country of the language is the very best way to learn a language more efficiently and to enjoy learning the language. Also, I would love to get to know those who love learning new languages from all over the world! Not only I just want to learn languages here, but also I would like to learn many different cultures and share interesting ideas.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am grateful for being part of this great community. I have got to know beautiful people who share the same values and the same mindset here on Couchsurfing.
I am looking forward to getting to know many more ambitious, extraordinary, and exceptional people from all over the world here.
