About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My life's mission is to inspire and educate others in conservation and natural systems by sharing my sense of endless curiosity and wonderment of the natural world.
ABOUT ME
I'm a life-long learner who is in love with the Southwest. Its mountains, streams, and big sky have been pulling me back for the past four years working seasonally in environmental education. I also have a love affair with the forests of the East, especially because I spent a perpetual autumn hiking southbound along the Appalachian Trail in 2011.
PHILOSOPHY
I spend a lot of time thinking about the things that I think about...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Rookie, but I have met plenty of people along the Appalachian Trail that took me in for a night or two. This 'Trail Magic" happens in the communities that surround the Trail on its own, so I'm new to this site!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacked from Georgia to Connecticut along the Appalachian Trail for a total of four months. Met the most interesting of people and learned to be happy for the present moment.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to teach you about ecology, natural cycles, astronomy, long distance backpacking, or other environmental topics. If we meet, I will undoubtably share my passion for the outdoors and community service. I am always interested in learning new things, no matter what. I haven't quenched my thirst for knowledge in 25 revolutions around the sun, and I don't see myself being satisfied in the next 25 trips!
