About Me
ABOUT ME
I live in an intentional community with 11 adults and 5 kids. We value relationships, social justice, environmental sustainability, caring for children, and the well-being of animals. We practice a synthetic-chemical-free household and deal with lots of noise.
Things you must know about our house if you want to stay with us:
To support our intentions, we ask that visitors:
Do communicate needs/requests clearly
Do commit to treating children, animals, and other people with respect and compassion
Do pitch in and leave our space clean
Don't bring synthetic chemicals on person or clothing (including perfumes, colognes, and other synthetic fragrances, petrol products, fresh nail polish, hairspray, many brands of soap, creams, and lotions, etc.) when in doubt, ask before you pack â we have shampoo, soap, and detergent available. Look for things containing the word "fragrance".
Don't bring alcohol, illegal drugs, weapons, or products that produce smoke
We also want you to know that:
We have lots of kids including one who is developmentally disabled and has tantrums, so noise at unpredictable times. This is not the place to get a good night's rest if you are a light sleeper.
We dumpster dive to rescue discarded food.
