About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I just finished my studies and I am taking a short break before going back to the "real world" of work!

ABOUT ME

I like having fun, discover new things, and new cultures. I grew up in the Carribean, on a french Island and I moved to France 5 years ago for studies. In the middle of those 5 years, I traveled in the US and South America to work and study abroad. I moved around France as well and I am willing to keep moving!

PHILOSOPHY

Don't worry by happy ! (classic, I know)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did not host any people personally because I have moved a lot in those past few years and I was always sharing my apartment with other people. I hung out with the couch surfing community in Brazil for a while when I was there and it was very friendly and fun though! I also met people from CS when I was in Toulouse, France.

Interests

I love traveling, even more when it's not planned...! I traveled a few times by myself and always found interesting people and lived great experiences. I also like cooking (can definitely make a french dinner for my hosts!) and dancing (learned a bit about salsa a few month ago!).

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies : I liked the movie Gran Torino with Clint Eastwood and Kill Bill is one of the few movies I can watch 10 times and not be bored. I also watch TV shows (Fargo, Homeland, Shameless...)
Music : reaggae (gyptian, Marley's family) but I am also fine with electro, hip hop and latin music.
Books: Paul Auster (Sunset Park, Brooklyn Follies..), I recently read a book from a Brazilian author (Milton Hatoum) and Flesh and Blood (Cunningham) which I liked.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I "studied" in Rio de Janeiro for 7months where I lived with 7 people from around the world. I learned portuguese there and then I traveled by myself in the North East for a month. I met lots of people and went to authentic/un-touristic places during that time. Very cool experience!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My cooking skills and cool stories!

Countries I’ve Visited
