I'm hoping to store up good couchsurfing karma so I can cash in that karma when my job frees me up.

ABOUT ME

I moved to harrisburg in early September and know NO ONE. I like good beer, being outside, and improv comedy. I work with kids and I love my job. Improv comedy is avocation, though I'm not great at it yet.

I'm looking to make friends in harrisburg so I don't go crazy and become a hermit. I'm a false extrovert. I like people in doses that get higher with familiarity. I like people, I just don't like not knowing what's going on around me.

Here's the balance: I believe in each persons ability to be awesome. I like helping other people be awesome because I'm pretty good at it myself. I am studying political science, along with women and gender, and philosophy. I do have an opinion on everything, but I like to listen.

I want to find a life where I balance out working with playing, learning with teaching, and can look someone in the eye and know what they are thinking. I'm looking for the life I know I could have if I could find the right ground to stand on. Til then, I just keep swimming.
