I feel grateful to folks gifted with putting into music an inner sensed world, pregnant with emotional meaning related to strong local,hard,joyful daily existence. I'm like "taken aback" whenever any far distant music unexpectedly and generously conveys sth that turns out to be so familiar.
Music is genuine cause it moves people closer together.
I realised I felt particularly appealed to Eastern music (Persian, Ottoman, Armenian - Ney, Oud, Duduk,violin, violoncello), African and Nomade Blues(Tinariwen)and to many other styles (classical in the general sense of the word) as long as it does not hurt my ears, I'll keep them wide open!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending a night in a forest in Dominica; swimming within turtles off the coast, in the open sea.
