About Me

CURRENT MISSION

As much as I try to plan for the future, I'm always distracted by the moment I'm in and I've come to accept and love it. I know how small we all are, and I'm here to make the most of this blue marble we all live on... for now.

ABOUT ME

I never tire of adventure; I love backpacking, camping, running, and most of all I love film. Hence I am a director, currently in film school at Cal State Northridge.

I direct music videos, and do both film and digital photography.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live so that I can either write something that's worth reading or do something that's worth writing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a watcher; an observer. I am constantly taking in the finer details of a moment and running them through my head.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am brand new to Couchsurfing, and haven't had the opportunity to do any surfing yet since I've been in school for the past 22 years... Once I graduate, though, it's on. I plan on taking a year off and making Couchsurfing my way of life. I thrive on experiencing new things, and meeting new faces so that's why I'm here.

Interests

Filmmaking, cinematography, space, NASA (worked there, so my passion is justified), backpacking, excursion, reading good books.

Music, Movies, and Books

Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey. Enough said.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

worked for NASA, shook the hand of a human that walked on the moon.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know filmmaking, photography, and was a boy scout back in the day so I've learned the essentials for survival in the wilderness or out and about on the town. I also write a lot, scored a 5 on my AP Lit test so "the man" has clarified that I'm able to put pen to paper. I also know a lot about space and NASA, as I work for the agency indirectly doing video work.
