ABOUT ME

My friends would say am easy going, driven and very self-aware. I like to see the lesson from each situation and grow from it.

PHILOSOPHY

Cut out the emotional clutter by eliminating those who belittle you or don't allow you for being the amazing individual you are. It's sometimes a painful process but we become lighter and more joyful individuals that will benefit our society. Changing ourselves for the better will in turn change our world. I am committed to my personal evolution to achieve my highest potential.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I committed myself for 3 years to both complete my nursing prerequisites and complete my 2nd undergraduate degree in Nursing. Prior to that, I was working as a tech professional for a year and then worked in the insurance industry for about 5 years. I did not enjoy my life working in insurance, and it took a lot of humility and sacrifice to hit my rock bottom in my late 20's to get back on my feet again to work towards a different path. The path was arduous and emotionally challenging. I had big dreams for myself to be financially successful, but it has not come through yet. I have learned that what is most important to do work that invigorates and excites me. I feel that I am getting much closer, and I just need to find that right specialty in nursing. I graduated with honors and this is a huge achievement for me to finally reach this major milestone. The path is still long, but I am excited about what my future unfolds in my new career as a nurse. I look forward to seeing more of the world as my reward for the hard work I have put in for the missed parties and studying every weekend at the library for the last three years.

Teach, Learn, Share

I learn from people from all walks of life. I learn from those who are much older than me. I love learning foreign languages. I learned to speak a couple of Norwegian phrases from YouTube. I can speak a little Italian and Spanish. It's so much fun to be able to communicate in another language.
