Tô numa fase da vida que até definir a minha cidade aqui no CS foi difícil, mas meu nome é Gustavo, tenho 26 anos e sou original de Ponta Grossa, PR.

Sai recentemente do meu trampo depois de dois anos morando em Torres, RS.

No momento tô aproveitando as férias forçadas e o momento da vida pra explorar um pouco o Brasil, meio sem rota e sem tempo definido.

To aproveitando essa viagem também pra dar uma (re)conectada em geral, desde o lado profissional quanto (principalmente) pessoal.

Entre os roles que eu passei e que eu considero que me agregaram valor e me definem como eu sou hoje eu diria, os 7 anos de graduação em oceanografia, o intercâmbio (Ciência Sem Fronteiras) pros EUA, os dois anos em Torres, fora os tantos outros que foram e o que que virão.

Eu procuro no CouchSurfing sempre uma troca real, e sinto que aqui as conexões são mais fortes e verdadeiras. Além de praticar tanta coisa boa como empatia, conhecer uma nova história de vida, ajudar e ser ajudado.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I saw the CouchSurfing at the first time, I felt that I should be part of this. When I was living in Brazil, I lived in a house near to a famous island called "Ilha do Mel", so I opened my home to receive guest from different parts of the world.

When I saw other members of CouchSurfing, I feel totally to keep doing what I am doing and maybe be like one of them. I've seen some incredible profiles!

When I am travelling, I like to feel like a native, so even when I don't meet anyone from CouchSurfing, I always try to get public transportation, walk as much as I can, to feel the city and the people around me.

Nowadays, I'm living in US, unfortunately, I can't offer a place for a guest, but I want to do my best here. As a good traveler, I want to use the website to know new and interesting people that certainly will improve my experience in US.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen the sunset in Pontal do Sul, Brazil.

I've hosted a girl from Argentina in my house that open my mind to explore the world. She made artisanal books to sell and continue her travel.

It's not done, but I'm doing: I'm doing an exchange program in US and when I have time and money I like to backpacking for different cities. I've been in Miami, Orlando, Jacksonville, Tampa Bay, Daytona Beach, Washingon DC, New York, Chicago, New Orleans, San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Seattle, Charlotte, Dallas, San Antonio, and Austin.

I went to a concert of the king of blues B.B. King in Brazil!
