ABOUT ME

Living in Chengdu, a megalopolis, a microcosm of modern China, I am welcoming all friends from home and abroad. Fortunately, Chengdu gives its young residents a global view due to the deepening globalization, on that account I decided to become a global citizen to disseminate China’s culture to the world.
Here comes my story. My childhood and teens was fully laden with joy, because Chengdu constantly conveyed me that to live with optimism and ardor.
My first step towards maturity was to decide my future path. Out of interest, I chose English cultural and linguistic study as my major in college. After graduation, I insist upon pursuing Master of Translation and Interpretation at SISU. Till now, I’m still working on it. Though the process of learning is sometimes discouraging and despairing, it did render me perseverance. Currently, I am keen on the study of western culture, likewise, still be dedicated to explore enormous wisdom of our own. I convinced that, for any language learners, the priority lies in becoming a master of their own culture rather than acting as a mediocre translator. Thus, for years, I’ve bent on obtaining cultural and historical essence as much as I could. It is my cultural identity that realizes communications with the outside world.
Apart from being an academic, I have an active social life. I've joined NGO programs and groups. I proudly served as the general consultant of Green-Idea Environmental Protection Community, leading my team to triumph. I joined in the volunteering rescue team, spent night and days saving people’s lives. I love competitions and challenges. My experience proved that a man shall neither be succumbed by adversities nor be thwarted by calamities.
Perhaps I don’t have a fancy place for you to accommodate, however, in fact, I will offer my expertise to assist you understand this nation and its people better.

PHILOSOPHY

A combination of Confucianism and Communism.:)
I don't believe dogmatism will bring any benefits. A more adjustable and pratical way to see the world is better! Confucianism helps to meditate，while conmmunism gives me passion.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I attend to supply historical, cultural and geographical knowledges for any foreign wayfarers, since I have been educated well in the mentioned aspects. Likewise, to give newcomers a free tour guide around the city and to conmunicate is what I'm willingly to do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met a bounch of nice people through CS, whom were thoughtful and friendly. Therefore, in transnational, exchanging our views towards this lovely world is an artistic enjoyment.
