One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hmmmmmm does getting my ears pierced count?? Oh, okay.
First was in 2010 I was a part of a youth training facility at a military camp. I lived, breathed and ate the Army and in return was awarded the Most Improved Trainee for that intake.
Also that same year I experienced mine, and my parents and granparents, first major natural disaster, the September 2010 Christchurch earthquake, and its numerous aftershocks. Being woken at 4-something in the morning to thunderous noise and shaking, one can only think it is a military invasion. No power, no water, no sewerage, for days on end some may never have to endure. Dealing with the aftermath of devastation is the worst of all.
This year I went blind in one eye after developing optic neuritis. Nobody knows why, it just kinda happened, just one of those things I guess, casually going blind.
