Overview
About Me
Currently living in the Netherlands (Amsterdam) for my studies, and still amazed by what this lovely country has to offer. I do Bioinformatics, but I have a Physics and Chemistry background.
I've lived my whole life in Barcelona (actually I live in a close city to Barcelona) but I've also lived during the summer in Belfast (Northern Ireland) and in Edinburgh, working in hostels, meeting a lot of travellers.
CURRENT MISSION
Learn, learn and learn :) What I most like is...the unexpected things
ABOUT ME
I'd describe myself as an open-minded person. I'm always willing to do new things and to make the most of my time while being abroad.
PHILOSOPHY
I don't have any specific personal philosophy which I follow. The only thing that I'm always willing is to enjoy each chance that life brings to me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
If you need a couch just let me know, maybe we can arrange something (though, in a sofa)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've gone to some couchsurfing events while being abroad (last one was in London) but I've never been couched/ever couched by anyone. Maybe now it's time to try that for the first time :)
Interests
I love music (above all seeing them in live), and I have a last.fm profile as well. If you want to check it here's the url: http://www.lastfm.es/user/Albertoaway
The thing that I most enjoy about music is enjoying it at concerts or festivals. This year I attended Primavera Sound (Alt-J, Damien Rice, ..) Cruïlla (Of monsters and men, Franz Ferdinand&Sparks), Bona nit (Kakkmaddafakka), BBK Live (The Black Keys, The Prodigy, Phoenix,..)
Another "hobby" that I have is running. It's a sport practice in which I can set goals and try to reach them...that's why I like running so much. In my spare time I go climbing too (in boulder or "walls").
I also love watching tv series (my favourites are friends, skins, doctor who, utopia,...), doing sports & outdoor activities and going out with people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
(written in....2013? )
I guess that the last amazing thing that I've done was seeing the whole sky last summer in the Northern Ireland coast at night (close to the Giant's causeway). As it's a very countrified area there were no pollution in the sky and I was able to see sooo many stars. It was an astonishing experience...I felt amazed about how little we are compared to the enormity of the universe.
Teach, Learn, Share
There's always a lot to learn about. I enjoy a lot learning about different traditions from other countries and sharing the traditions from my country as well. That's a way to avoid culture shocks in the future ;)
Besides, (that comes the nerdy part) if you're willing to solve any doubt of physics, chemistry or maths, maybe I'll be able to help you, I have some experience with it
What I Can Share with Hosts
