ABOUT ME

I'm moving to Canberra from New Zealand to start a PhD at ANU this year. I'm looking for a place to stay for a few days while I find a flat.

I'm also looking to meet as many people in Canberra as possible and thought that couch surfing for a few days when I got here might be a good way to meet a couple of people.

We hosted some couchsurfers in our flat in Christchurch. It was a great way of meeting different people who are doing cool things

Interests

I like most things, tend to go through phases of getting really excited about one thing and then move onto another.

I like sports; played soccer all of my life and thinking about running a marathon at some stage during the year.

Music, Movies, and Books

Yes, yes and yes. Love all three. I'm currently working through a massive list of books that I want to read. I enjoy sitting around with mates watching movies, particularly on those hungover Sundays where doing anything is just too difficult.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A 44 hour solo in the bush was a pretty bizarre and amazing experience. It's pretty weird not seeing any people for that long.

Pretty much every tramp I've done has been amazing. So much beautiful scenery, particularly once you get above the snow line.
