About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to get to know people all around the world through couch surfing. For the next year or so I will only be hosting. Then I plan to do a two-year trip around the world myself.
ABOUT ME
Some of my friends say that I am the happiest person they've ever met. This is just because I smile a lot. But it is true that I am generally pleased. I love traveling I love writing and I love talking with people especially authors.
PHILOSOPHY
Big question. I think that we are here to help our fellow man. That reasoning ties in well with couch surfing's mission. I also think we are here to bring glory to God through amazing feats that we could not do on our own.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite movie is Chinatown. My favorite book is A Separate Peace. I also like The Great Gatsby. I also love the book East of Eden.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most fun things I did was travel around Europe for six weeks with my cousin who is Swiss. On another trip through Europe I hiked through the Pyrenees mountains and stayed in a Shepard's hut in a valley surrounded by cows and fog. That was the second most beautiful scenery I've ever seen. Aside from the Swiss Alps which win out. Sailing in the Bahamas was gorgeous and I ran into a shark while snorkeling there. And seeing what I think was St. Elmo's fire in the middle of the night while keeping watch on the boat was surreal. Hiking up a volcano in the southern region of Japan was also life-changing, but ordering beer from a vending machine was the most breathtaking.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am an editor for an engineering magazine. This does not mean that I know about engineering. This means I know about writing and editing in the English language. I am pretty good at this and can help improve other people's English writing.
I also have a little experience shooting and editing video. And interviewing people on camera.
I also used to be a locksmith. I could teach you how to get into a lock or any car that you can see. But I probably won't share this knowledge.
