About Me

ABOUT ME
I am currently spending time in Oakland between seasons on a Permaculture homestead on Orcas Island, WA. In my free time I like to garden, cook, skateboard, hike/camp, go out for a drink, photography; to name a few.

PHILOSOPHY

Simplicity in life. Everything is part of a series of interconnected systems. No expectations, only an open mind.

Music, Movies, and Books

Open to most, closed to very few. I watch mostly comedies, listen to mostly Indy/classic rock and hip hop, and read whatever interests me at the time. Wayyyyy too many to list

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A ten day backpacking trip in rain, snow, and hail in a deep wilderness capped off with three days all by myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

Cooking. Gardening. Environmental education. Photography. Skateboarding. Massage, crafting, plant identification and wild plant hunting, cleaning, Building a shelter/fire in the wilderness. I can proofread something you've written...Probably some other things I could help you with if you ask. Also always happy to have a deep/intellectual/new ideas conversation.

I would love to learn what you can teach me that I might not know about the things above or anything similarly related. Not sure I can say there's anything in particular I'd like to learn, maybe some musical notes on any given instrument or new recipes. Fruit tree pruning...haha whatever you have to offer.
