Sobre Mim

As far as "earning" my life goes, I am a wage-slave and blue-collar worker just like most of us in the world who have to slave our lives for meaningless, automatable service-sector jobs, for lousy non-living wages. But at home I function on an entirely different wavelength; I work primarily on conceptual and performance art and writings with sociopolitical themes. Social- and gender-equity topics are the main point of my work. My work is both satirical, serious, and deeply philosophical too. It is egalitarian advocacy to outgrow the current competitive money-market economy, and also advocacy for behavioral and cultural value evolution of women and men in their interactions and connections with each other. (However, my work on the relations between women and men is not to be confused with advocacy for "feminism," or pushing for some sort of full force gender equality quota that needs to be met.) On the socioeconomic side, one of my most time-consuming art projects is the publishing of negative criticism magazine about the money culture that suffocates our day-to-day interactions, and I am also in the middle of writing my book about the same "money" topic as well. Sorry, my work is not available for viewing as none is published nor shared on a website yet.

So, I abandoned interest and faith in our everyday Corporatocracy long time ago. I am not nationalistic, patriotic, or supportive of any political -isms. I try to align my views with sustainable ideas that work for the whole world. I don't have much positive to say about the current state of the world, as the political system we live-in is as dysfunctional as it can get on many levels. I realize that my egalitarian minded views are quite a bit different from those of many people that I've met, so if I'm your guest, to spare polarizing of our views I will probably not talk about my sociopolitical views unless you insist on hearing them.

I am also not religious and not spiritual, never bored, and always working on something related toward my goals. I am also more introverted than the average people, as I am mostly focused on my art and my writings.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I appreciate your interest in accepting me as a guest at your place, and hopefully our personalities will be interesting to each other and our views will align onto the same spectrum. I also appreciate anything that is driven by altruism (which will be the economic model of the future, wink-wink), and I spread the word of altruistic cooperation, open-source and free anything. And while I appreciate openness, altruism, and free couches, I would sound like a hypocrite to say that it is unlikely for me to host guests because:
1. My place is a 1 bedroom and it's too small, and you will have to sleep on the kitchen floor.
2. Very recently my apartment had flea infestation, and while currently they have been annihilated, I'd be still worried for some leftover fleas to be jumping on and biting you overnight.
3. I don't have an extra bed, and you will have to sleep on the floor on blankets and on yoga pad.
4. There is no door to separate the kitchen and my bedroom, and to get to the restroom you would have to go through my bedroom.
5. I have window AC which works all night long and makes lots of noise!
6. Sorry for the pile of discouragements... but there are more.
7. I don't recommend anybody coming to the filthy and humid Florida, not only because it is unpleasant and humid, but because that humidity welcomes insects, mosquitoes, spiders and roaches, to thrive well and happy, and to once in a while crawl on the floor where you'll sleep.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Movies: mostly documentaries and mockumentaries. French new wave and Italian cinema 1960-80s. Woody Allen, 70-80s, which was a genre by itself.

Music: mostly electronic: atmospheric drone ambient, Berlin school electronic music, chillout, tribal, progressive, psychedelic chill-out, classical Baroque and instrumental. Occasionally socially-conscious hip-hop, spoken-word rap and satire, not for the music, but for the satire.

Books: nonfiction, social- and gender-equity oriented, and science.

TV: I don't know what that is. I haven't watched TV since the late 90s because it's too corporatized... plus they keep shoving at me "celebrities," "celebrities," "celebrities," which I never got hooked onto because they are obviously not real celebrities, but corporate-made and fine-polished celebrities just like the way barbie dolls are manufactured. Though, the early episodes of Seinfeld were pretty good. I also enjoyed Mr. Bin, the Benny Hill show, Mad TV, Ali G pranks, Perfect Strangers with Balki Bartokomous, and ALF with Ms. Ochmonek. But when TV gets de-corporatized one day, I am ready to go back without having to put through the desperation of the artificially funny and obnoxious commercials.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

The "one amazing" thing I do is what I do everyday through my art and writing.

O Que Posso Compartilhar com Anfitriões

Knowledge, socializing and discussions on alternative socioeconomic models, sustainability, global events, electronic music. I can play chess and read my written poems. We can watch artsy or indy movies and documentaries. We can ski together if you ski or snowboard. We can workout together if you have a gym: I am pretty good with calisthenics and can show some strenuously exhausting workouts. Sorry, I don't drink and smoke. I like good electronic music, but not loud parties with drinking and smoking. As far as food, I am vegan and my preference is buying food from the supermarket.
