About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn to forgive, love more, live consciously, share the beauty of everyday with those around me, look for meaning.
To have my first ever couchsurfing experience! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I can't imagine traveling to a beautiful new place and not connecting with its people! I enjoy meeting, getting to know people, what they are like, why and how they do what they do. Joy shared is joy doubled!! Glad to listen to you, look at the world through your eyes, for a while, and learn from you.

I've been on this website for a number of years, yet just now (spring 2019) going to actually use it:)
I'm currently unable to host in my home, but hope and believe it will be possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

Really enjoy reading how the natural world is made: botany, biology, geology (only amateur level). Sometimes biographies, historical novels. I have a big respect for the Bible.

Music: it's the world I'm only discovering! Just finding out the music of different cultures, it's fascinating! Most recently it was Indian and Lebanese. I appreciate those who can help me navigate the vast world of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watched a huge group of dolphins jumping in and out of the water at a moment when I was particularly sad. It was otherwordly, almost unreal.

10 days in Switzerland in '12 !!!

Trying to speak French and discovering it's actually working! !

2018 - discovering international students in my city! My world is wider now!

Making an "impossible" difficulty cake and realizing I can make it:)

Teach, Learn, Share

I live with my mother and brother in Gomel, Belarus. Since the age of 7 I've been traveling across the ocean to the USA almost every summer, thanks to a program for children from Chernobyl-affected areas. I'm from such a area. Always thankful to my hosts in the US for giving me that opportunity.
Early travel experience gave me taste for being closer to other cultures and peoples of the world. I love knowing that in spite of language barrier, there are things that always work in any culture: unselfishness, respect, honesty...and other.
Looking forward to spending some time with people in my next destination!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My respect, attention, interest, time, abilities, experience, stories , joy!!

In tangible terms, I'll be happy to cook something for you, it's one of my creative passions! Or Join and / or help in any good & useful activity that you are doing.
You don't have to worry about cleanliness + neatness!
