About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Currently working on writing and online teaching projects that will incorporate my travelling experiences

ABOUT ME

I've been teaching English for a few years in various places such as Korea, China and Turkey. I love travelling, meeting people, learning languages and living life to the fullest.

PHILOSOPHY

I think experiences and learning and relationships with people are what give life meaning.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am trying to meet people from countries around the world, especially people who love learning foreign languages since that is my number one hobby. I occasionally surf and would like to host in the future as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Robert Greene's books, freakonomics, books about philosophy and psychology, Bertrand Russell. Porcupine Tree is my favorite band and I love progressive rock in general. I often use songs for language learning, so in the past year I've listened to a lot of Turkish and Russian songs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been skydiving in Arizona and it's the most amazing thing I've ever done. My first year abroad in Costa Rica was a life-changing experience and the reason I'm doing so much international travel now!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm an English teacher so ask me your grammar and phonology questions! I am interested in psychology, economics and linguistics as well as philosophy, and love to discuss various books/articles on those subjects. :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Bulgaria, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Japan, Venezuela

Countries I’ve Lived In

China, Costa Rica, Mexico, South Korea, Turkey
