UPDATE :: Summer 2015:: moved into small townhouse with roommates. Will be able to host (sleep on cozy couch) by mid to late august :)

I thought it was really neat when we went to Brazil (For Ben's job) and didnt know any Portuguese, yet we could communicate perfectly fine with a deaf man selling pens! Ben's sister is deaf and he his fluent in American Sign-Language. I had just taken several ASL classes myself at the college. There were very few differences (in sign language US/Brazil) in the little conversation we had with him.

I'm a Birth Photographer (as well as high end real estate) and can help you learn some things with the camera you bring on your travels.
My husband and I can teach you about gardening and sustainability. We garden and try to grow as much of our own food as possible.
I'm a birth advocate and could teach you a lot of things about alternative birthing.
I would love to learn about music from your culture! We are big music nerds!! We also love ethnic cuisine!
