Hi there!
I would prefer someone else describe me but if I need to tell you something I think I am independent and spontaneous person, with soul of traveller.

I do, what in me is burning.
And it ignites.

Some say that I'm an intelligent and humoristic man, and I'm stupid enough to believe them, but smart enough to keep up this illusion. So the 'truth' is definitely somewhere in between. I believe if you never do anything crazy, then you really must be crazy!!! Sometimes you simply have to rip loose, get rid of the lemming-like or herd mentality, and to choose your own way. Those who did do in the past crazy things in the eyes of other people, are the genius of today.

My name is Mark. I'm 22 years old. I'm from Ukraine but live in Geneva. My hobby is TraveLiving. Every year I'm live in new country, learn their language, try to be part of their culture. I started this TraveLiving in 2012. I have already lived in Klagenfurt, Austria (2012-2013) and Munich, Germany (2013-2014). Right now I stay in Geneva, Swiss.

I live my life with freedom, fun and adventure.

While traveling through life, I like to cross paths with YOU; having nice conversation, exchange experiences, visit interesting places, laughing our ass off. It's wonderful to stay in contact with people where I shared memories and a good time with for a maybe future follow-up. In life I enjoy feeling the freedom, traveling around, breathing the excitement, experience the passion and emotions connected to life. Other times I just like to relax, feel the beauty of nature, warm sunlight on the skin, listening to the singing birds, enjoying good music, and the wind blowing through the hair. I like to cook together and enjoy tasty dishes, a good glass of wine or warm cup of tea. It are just the simple things and the variation that makes a life beautiful and interesting. And guess what? The best things in life are all for free!!! And CS is one of those!

I learn from yesterday, live today, and don't worry about tomorrow. For me life is beautiful and enjoyable because I take it easy, and with humor and surprises. I live without too many expectations and plans, and every day turns into a fairy tale without disappointments on illusions.
I collect and combine the best aspects in life. I can use what people and cultures have developed over centuries of history. But I always use my own brains! But sometimes; I just stop thinking. The best times of my life where when I stopped thinking and start feeling. Life is learning me a lot, and maybe on one day I may become wise. Maybe even such wise as you.

Personal development and growth is my greatest hobby. I'm a life-long learner, I like reading, especially audiobooks. I'm a generalist and like to know everything. I like to discover and experience all secrets from the world, the universe, the human being, the women, the spiritual ones, and the world of money and economics. And all mechanism behind those things. To much? No! I at least want to become a thousands years old; but in mean while staying young and healthy

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started be active on CS in 2013 after my trip throw Europe. It was so amazing. I found flight tickets for 5-10 Euro. Every two days I flight from one country to another, I have lived in so many great hosts, I met so many nice people and found best friend. This trip and CS changed all my life.

As a surfer: I always respect time schedule and duties of my host, try to make myself useful around a house and keep place tidy (I like washing dishes even if they are not mine). I also try to leave something what could remind about me and always invite my host to stay in my place as an exchange.

As a host: I try to host people in need even when I'm busy with my life. It doesn't make me a perfect host but please understand that when you have holiday, your host has to work, so be able to take care of yourself. However I'm always happy to give some directions.

Put me on top of a mountain with a snowboard strapped to my feet and I'll be the happiest person in the world.

WRITING
I write to find patterns of thought, patterns in language, patterns in human experience. I write to transform myself, transform language, to travel away from myself, and closer to myself at the same time. I write because each demon has something to say. I write because I want to remember. I write to try to get something out of me and forget. I write because I like to finish my own stories—have that control. I write to have control over things I cannot control. I write to exert pressure on things. I love writing because sometimes it feels like pushing.
I write because I think I know more. And for me, writing is not only a release, but also a way to organize my thoughts and stabilize myself. I write because it brings me joy.
I write because I believe that words have the ability to jump off the page, grab you by the ears, shake your head from side to side, and make you shout: Can you believe it? Can you?
I write because I believe authors, poets and the written word can change the world. I write because the pen is indeed mightier than the sword, and ever so much more fun. I write because it allows expression to the many things I dare not, or cannot say. I write because it fulfills me. I write because it pleases me. I write because hopefully it pleases you.

Life is tricky. As human beings, we have hopes and dreams, fears and failings, allies and antagonists.
