ABOUT ME

I would describe myself as moderately outgoing. I enjoy meeting new people, but sometimes have trouble clicking with some folks, but I guess thats normal (right?) If you're a person who's passionate in whatever it is you love, we'll have tons to talk about. I love listening to people's travel stories, and enjoy sharing mine as well. I was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico and I am currently a student (22), studying biology and classical literature. I enjoy traveling, teaching and trying delicious food.
The hangouts I enjoy cover the spectrum. I'm comfortable grabbing a coffee or a beer and just talking about life, or we can put our dancing shoes on and have a rager on the town.
I'm terrible at movies and t.v shows, though I do keep up with one or two.
I'm an animation lover, often binge watching youtube videos of projects from students at Ringling.
In addition to reading ancient texts, I also enjoy my leisurely reads here and there. Currently I'm on the third book of Song of Ice and Fire, and loving it.
My taste in music fluctuates depending on the season/year/current experiences, but just to name some bands and artists theres Hellogoodbye, Two Door Cinema Club, Young Science, John Mayer, The Fratellis, Jarabe de Palo, Juan Luis Guerra, Los Campesinos!, Regina Spektor, and the list goes on and on. I also love listening to new bands so if you's like to trade mix tapes or recommendations that be grand.

Overall, I'm just a person trying to meet peeps with the same open energy and hoping to add a bit of kindness to the world.

Interests

I enjoy dancing and going to music shows, reading ancient texts (The Odyssey is my absolute favorite book), and teaching.
I absolutely love traveling and tasting food and drinking coffee from all over the world.
