About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore Europe, through a citizien's POV not a tourist!

ABOUT ME

I'm currently "une fille au pair" in the great city of Paris. I have a wildlife degree from the States and much like everyone else, it has failed to produce much success with my career. To be fair, I'm still trying to figure out what exactly I wish to do. I had a few temporary jobs out of college and some job interviews here and there (and lots of rejection emails, yay) but I visited a friend in Paris in September 2012 and realized I needed to get out and start traveling like I'd always wanted to instead of waiting around and searching for that elusive paid position. So here I am, stumbling my way through learning French and living with an Italian family.

Back in the States, I was big into concerts and summer festivals. I popped my festival cherry with Starscape and Bonnaroo in 2011. It's been an addiction ever since. I love going to concerts and shows!

PHILOSOPHY

To be open-minded. You can never fully be educated on a matter until you've experienced it yourself.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is quite important to me. I'm one of those "I listen to everything" kind of people even though death metal is not on the list, realistically. I'm very into electronic music, it's been a bit of a passion for the last five years. But my time in Tennessee has taught me to enjoy bluegrass as well :)

Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail and Life of Brian are two of my favorite movies. I'm a huge nerd, I love LoTR and Harry Potter and whatnot.

Favorite books....Pillars of the Earth, Steven King's Dark Tower Series.
