About Me

ABOUT ME

On a seemingly endless journey to find my purpose in this world, but at the moment there are too many ideas in my head which all sound too good! Aquaponic farming, environmental awareness, documentary making and more.

So I keep moving around as much as I can, hoping to find inspiration or direction along the way. I work online as a writer, teacher and I also have a small business selling bamboo products from Vietnam, mostly straws. I love my country dearly, and return home whenever I can for long visits with my family, before getting itchy feet and moving off somewhere else again. One dream is to return and start an NGO using aquaponic farming as a way to relive poverty.

Besides farming and movie making, I am passionate about self-improvement and spirituality, and enjoy reading books on this topic. History and archaeology gets me going too, and when travelling I love nothing more than finding unique historical stories about the area I am in

Music, Movies, and Books

Steinbeck and Garcia-Marquez. My sister on guitar and squash box is by far my favourite music!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Peering over the edge of volcan Telica in Nicaragua to gaze at the lava through the hissing gas is as amazing the 20th time as the first!

Seeing my first leopard after many near misses; easily the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll teach you all about aquaponics, or how to make a wallet from a milk carton. I also love sharing and learning recipes.
