About Me

********** Starting a round-the-World low carbon road trip in 2024 with my girlfriend ************

Europe - Africa - Middle East - Minor Asia - Japan - South East Asia - Australia - New Zealand

**********See you there!***********

CURRENT MISSION

Discover, share, learn and spread my travel addiction.

ABOUT ME

I'm an open-minded and curious guy really passionated by people. From 2011 to 2019, I've been travelling the world for work, studies and holidays, which had become a way of life. I basically stayed 1 or 2 months in France per year, then move on to the next internship, exchange program, road trip or working holiday.

In 2019 I settled down in Paris, embracing full time "normal life" together with my girlfriend. We both started working full time in consulting and bought an appartment. Working in energy transition, I found myself facing a misalignment between my travel addiction and the tremandous carbon intensity of flight travel. We've been travelling by train, bus, van and hitchhiking ever since.

After 5 years, it's time to hit the road again like in the good old days but not in the bad old way :p

We're leaving Paris on December 18th 2023 and plan to reach New Zealand about 1 year after.

Stay tuned!

About me : I'm moving abroad every time I got the chance !

I consider that each person is interesting to talk to and every place is worth to be seen. That's why I'm a kinda CS addict too. Nothing better than local advises and guidance :)

My friends usually tell me that I have too many passions, among whom cinema, cars & driving, skydiving, sport shooting, biking, trekking, economy, geopolitic, geography, cryptocurrencies, new technologies, music, video games.. and travels of course.

Meeting people is always a great experience ! Even when it's not..

PHILOSOPHY

"Travelling is not about where and when, but rather about how and with who".

We have only one life so we have to enjoy every single moment to do what we like !

"When you're in Rome, do as the Romans do"
"You're 20 once"
"The best way to predict the future is to create it".
"Better have remorses than regrets"
"Everything happens for a reason"
===>Think outside the box<===

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been surfing for 10 years now, in Europe, North, South & Central America, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Oceania, hosted by more than 40 people, attended dozens of meetings and getting to know dozens of cool guys. Great memories !

I know how this network is useful and you can't imagine how it has changed my life, my way of thinking and, most important, my perception of the world. I feel like I have friends everywhere, which is closer and closer from the truth every day! When I'm in France, sometimes I organize some Couchsuring events in Paris or in Nantes, like parties, museums tours, picnics and week end by the seaside.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've many couchsurfing experiences and I'll remember some of them for all my life, like the Penthouse flat in Miami Beach, my amazing host in Milan who showed me around the city and these two days in Tijuana is this wondeful house with a super cool host! Or this crazy guy hosting me in Brooklyn, the two amazing turkish guys in Istanbul, these awesome hermanos in Mexico City or this cool driver in Doha. Oh yeah this awesome guy in Jakarta bringing me to Paris Islands islands, this Russian couple in Guangzhou, China, or this crazy Chinese borrowing me his car in Sydney! Or even this hippie in Hawaii, who invited me to a beach party!
