About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Engage with the world and its people!

ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing, open-minded, guy from Finland. Into exciting adventures in the wild anf in cities. I like to go hiking, biking and I also try to sail when ever I can! I have also been a yoga enthusiast for quite some time and also spend my free time at the gym, cooking good food with friends or going out every now and then.

PHILOSOPHY

Aim to live in the moment and understand the beauty of transition! Life and its tolls are ever-changing, engage with it, embrace it, and create unforgettable memories!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My experience in Couchsurfing has so far been as a host. I love the fact that CS allows me as a traveller to get acquanted with locals and their life-style. I have also attended some CS meetings in Helsinki and spent time with some surfers at potlucks. Also participated on a Couchsurfing Summer Camp in Pärnu, Estonia a few summer ago!

I enjoy spending time with people living locally. Good adventures, long night talks, exercise that makes me sweat, good food and some partying are always a great addition on a trip!

Every time I visit a new host I do really aim to cook something for them to share my cultural inheritage and interests =)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in Florida a couple of years ago and had a blast the peeps I stayed there. I also visited Malmö and surfed there with a great time with Lisa's family.

I was also fortunate enough to continue having these positive experiences in France and Spain during summer 2015, and will hope to continue meeting more amazing people!

Afyer having studied and live in Estonia for 5 years, I am now slowly transitioning back to Helsinki where I hope to start to host surfers.

Interests

I really enjoy being active during my trips and exploring around! Going to national parks, skinny-dipping, seeing local social life, playing games and experiencing the night life as well! Ive also been doing yoga for quite some time so Im am always interested in joining yoga events as well.
