My mission is to cycle from Ireland to Australia in aid of Charity, starting on the 4th of April.

ABOUT ME

Hi I'm Dean. (Patrick)
Cycling from Ireland to Australia solo, so would descried myself as a bit of a mad one but love to see different cultures, people and parts of the world. I'm 24 and have lived In Ireland most of my life and was educated in Dublin where I studied Creative Digital Media. I like film, book and relaxing while watching the world go by.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you have a place where I can stay that would be greatly appreciated as I'm doing my cycle for charity and hope to do it as cheap as possible. I like to have conversations with people and share experiences and culture. Meeting new people and experiencing new places opens the mind.

To date my experience has been positive. I have met some amazing people and have shared stories and cultures. I hope for this to continue

Interests

I will always try something once as I believe that you experience life more by participating in it. But in my spare time I do like to cycle, run, hike, read and generally just hang out.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm generally open to all types of music, books and films and usually go on the advice from family and friends. I would say I would lean more into the non-fiction adventure genre in terms of book but any exciting well written narrative will appeal to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Done the Tour Du Mont Blanc in 2011 where I hiked 200km in 9 days over France, Italy and Switzerland.
