My current mission is to complete my trip from Colonia Valdense, Uruguay to Washington State US

ABOUT ME

My best friends in the USA think I am crazy to have left my native land forever. So I guess they'd say I'm a looney bird of an old gal-smile. They think I am brave and adventurous. I think I am simply curious.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Right now 2015 I am off to Orlando and need a couch: Oct 27 to Nov 4. Then I am off to Delray Beach for a couple of days.

Interests

I spend a great deal of time on the computer. Internet marketing is what I do. Organizing tours is new to me but that is what I will do for a living. Helping people understand the five flags process and gain residency in a foreign country is a passion of mine. I'll start traveling again soon and scout out the countries where people are most apt to want as their official residence. Musical theater and performance are what I love: opera, ballet, the performance arts, folkloric music and dance,local festivals, the gaucho culture, historical museums. Being busy has interfered with learning Spanish. I need to get a grasp of this language, and that takes time and effort!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 1963 the bullfights in Mexico City and the cliff divers in Acapulco; the tragedy of the Vietnam War I saw first hand in 1966 and '67; the sadness in East Berlin before the wall went down; the beauty of the world's children; the kindness of people when they realized I was lost and confused (many times over the last 40 years) in their foreign city.
