About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel more, learn and meet new people!

ABOUT ME

I am currently taking a break from school after graduating college in liberal arts. Currently I am working in a restaurant while waiting to start school in September.
In my free time I like to discover new places to eat, go to some festivals, which Montreal has a lot of and read.
I live in an apartment on the south shore of Montreal with my four year old boxer named Charles Wallace and cat Albert.

PHILOSOPHY

I guess I believe in Karma, treat others how you wish they would treat you, kindness in general is a good philosophy

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For me couchsurfing is a way of meeting new people and really getting a good sense of what a city has to offer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I currently have no experience in couch surfing, but my brother has traveled extensively using it and my father also tried it and they both had amazing experiences. Which led me wanting to try this way of travel.

Interests

I enjoy a lot of things, Literature, I'm one of those "I read a lot" people
Arts, paintings especially , I particularly enjoy the surrealists, such as Dali & Magritte
I love eating at food trucks or little street food stands

Music, Movies, and Books

For movies I particularly enjoy british humour, such as Monty pythons or the Black Adder series, anything that is witty and clever. I listen to a lot of different music from Beethoven to Shad to AC/DC or Of Monsters and Men.
As I previously mentioned, I read a lot but I prefer novels, books such as The life of Pi, some of my favourite authors are Charles Dickens, Murielle Barbery and Amélie Nothomb. I also read a lot of biographies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few years ago I went to the west coast with my father and we rented a car and went exploring the rockies, Jasper, Banff and the ice field parkway.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach french!
And maybe show you a couple recipes!
I would love to learn to play a music instrument, or another language.
Learning new recipes and cooking style is always great, I am presently working on bettering my sushi skills and indian food understanding.
