About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the whole world, to meet new people, to explore Berlins sourroundings, to party - and to stay relaxed and always happy with all that "plans"

ABOUT ME

I wanna enjoy every day of my life as much as possible. What's the point of beeing always busy whith something "really important" and in fact missing the whole life. Most of the time the perfekt moment is NOW. I don't think much about the future... ok, not entirely true... in the future I still wanna have a life with spontaneity, unpredictability, a lot of new pleasures which can be explored, laughter, friendship, surprises...
If everything is set in your life, you loose a lot of opportunities, to make completely new experiences.

What else to say... ok a lot, but for the moment I just write two more things:
1. It's not easy to get me into bad mood - but of course with a lot of hard work, it can be achieved.
2. I like the particularities of each country and hate that big companies spread out in the world. Why travelling thousands of kilometers and than go to McDonalds and Starbucks like at home...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since three years I am travelling a lot. I haven't done couchsurfing yet - except one similar experience in Uganda - but I think I will and I can imagine to offer a couch as well. But for the moment I like to meet other travellers in Berlin to go out for a beer or wine or do excursions (probably again in spring). I hope this is a great opportunity to meet people with the same interests.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ok, now exactly seven days later the text I wrote on "How I participate" is not exactly true anymore. The same day I wrote that text, I went to a couchsurfing event in Berlin, met a russian couple and hosted them for five days. It was a great experience an I really enjoyed spending time with them. Svetlana and Anton, if you are reading this: you are a great couple!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Uganda using the public transport the people - and espacially the children - outside were looking very friendly and waved all the time. Then the idea come to my mind, as it would be, spending one day and one night with a local family in one of these small villages with mud houses. I just did it... there were moments when I thought "What the f... I am doing here" but all together it was one of my most memorable experiences ever.
