About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life!

ABOUT ME

I'm just a guy who sometimes travels, sometimes works and tries to enjoy life!

I'm a film-maker when I work, and a general adventurer when I don't. I try to get outside and see new stuff and meet new people as often as possible, whatever i'm doing. Other people rock, so I jump at a chance to join in with something they do that I haven't before, and I always try to invite people to join me for whatever I do!

I went to New Zealand to live in Auckland, but after a while things just didn't seem to be working out, so I walked and hitch-hiked from one end to the other. I went everywhere, camping mainly and I also worked on a farm for a little and all sorts like that.

Then I decided to go to Aus for fun, save some money go somewhere else. I ended up staying for 13 months, and working making films again which is awesome.

I also lived in an amazing house where we had travellers, friends, strangers around all the time. For most of the aussie summer we had a minimum of 9 people living there with 4 rooms. It was the most spectacularly cool summer. We did spray paint art on the walls, built a stage in the garden and just always did stuff together. It was the best!

So I was guna stay in Aus, but the government turned us down (too small business) So I had to come up with a plan. That was a ticket to Bangkok and a ticket to Belgrade a week later. After Belgrade, i'm going to find my way across Europe. And that's it.

I say yes to stuff and I love sharing life with other people!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm working on it more and more as I go and have time to think and to learn more. Generally I think people are great. Thats a good starting point I reckon.

Try to do incredible things, be ok with failing or succeeding!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed a lot! With some awesome people. It was initially a night here and there and then it was just going with the flow.

And have now hosted a fair bit! Having cool people from around the world come and hang out? Yes! Officially hosted a few people but ended up living in a sort of open house for travellers and hosted loads of people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed on lots of couches in days gone by, especially when I first moved to London.

Then actually started couchsurfing in NZ. Loved it, had the best experiences from it, and now invite whoever wants to come join me wherever I am!

Stayed in Aus with one guy long term and we are now best mates! Hosted lots of people in this crazy house and we were all best mates. Broke my heart when they left!

Anything, i'm trying to read more books and learn some more history from around the world at the moment. I quite enjoyed learning about the Mexican revolution and some ancient greek history too. Anything!

I love sports. I ran the London marathon, road cycled, played rugby, and surfing is a big one (I used to live in Cornwall) Go climbing and surfing.

In the city I go to the cinema, exhibitions, random events and of course the occasional party!

otherwise I love making films of course, thats what I think about a lot I guess.
