CURRENT MISSION

I'd like to learn a fourth language or just practise Spanish with someone (I'm fluent but bad at writing because I only learned it through speaking). Any help is welcome.

I would consider myself to be a social, creative and curious person. A bit of a dreamer and idealist. I sometimes take photos with my phone and upload them to Eyeem.com/jaschabln

I wish I had the time and money to visit more places and people around the world.
I enjoy living in Berlin because its a multicultural, vivid and creative city with lots to offer and full of interesting people. Whether youre interested in nightlife or arts - I could show you around - from bookstores, cafes to clubs and sights.

I have lived and grown up in different cities in Germany but I also spent a year living in England and I have also spent almost a year in La Paz, Bolivia, doing voluntary social work with street children among others.

I have used CS as a host and I use it from time to time to meet people who live here but are new to Berlin or just on a visit.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoyed reading Tolstoi, Arundhati Roy, Gabriel García Márquez, Oscar Wilde, Max Frisch, Otfried Preußler, Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir, some Foucault, lots of others.. I constantly buy new books.

I enjoy watching the Daily Show, some Ted Talks, some YouTube channels and I like most films from Wes Anderson, Hayo Miyazaki, Almodóvar, Stanley Kubrik and many more.. I liked "I Stand alone" (Seul contre tous) but don't know why and don't want to know.

I love music a lot so I don't really want to list anything here, my music interest is just too broad. And it depends on where I am, what I do and who I am with..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling around India was definitely very impressive. Living and working in Bolivia was probably the most exciting and "educating" experience so far.
