ABOUT ME
Hola! I am Joel from Peru and I grew up in Uruguay. Before Romania I was living in Somalia.
I love to travel as a local and discover and share new places and cultures. Meeting new and amazing people along the way, is the goal. Always ready to share a coffee and a good conversation with a big smile :)

Now I living in Bucharest in Piata Romana, my favorite area of the city. For me, it’s possible to talk in Spanish, Portuguese, and English. I can cook peruvian food sharing experiences and memories from the travels with others travelers on the way and have also, a good conversation about random topics.

PHILOSOPHY
For me, the life is for the living, and for this, we need to enjoy every day and continue learning about it. The world will be a better place to live, when we can understand the important about sharing, to make community, and help the people in need.

I love the music in general, for listen or for dance. Calle 13 is one of my favorites.I love to read, in this moment I read Hemingway, Cuando suenan las campanas. My favorites writers are Murakami, Hemingway, Garcia Marquez, Orwell.

I'm really open with the information I have for traveling and I love to show my favorites spots in town. I know the difficulties when you had been in a new country with a different culture, different language and other mentality.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to dance (I can teach you salsa) 💃 and be part of small live concerts. (I love to play the guitar and shared and listen music) Hikings, painting and walking around the city as a traveller, are my favorites activities.
