About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've had a fantastic experience with Couchsurfing before in Bangkok and Tokyo. I'd love to continue participating in this awesome community!
Interests
I like to make things with my hands - pretty much anything! I especially like fiber crafts though (sewing, knitting, crocheting, etc). I love talking and meeting new people :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to music that's mainly from the indie genre. Examples include Beirut, Arcade Fire, Of Montreal, and Beach House.
As for movies...I don't have very much experience to really say. I like Pixar and Miyazaki movies. I watch Japanese and Korean dramas occasionally. I hate scary movies and suspense movies make me way too anxious!
I love to read. I used to read ALL the time as a kid, but I don't read as often anymore because of my classes. I like to read autobiographies and medical history books, but I also read a great deal of nonfiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Costa Rica in high school for my AP Biology class. We went zip-lining over the forest canopy hundreds of feet above the ground - I will never forget the rush of green foliage around me and how exhilarating it was to speed around in the sky.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to teach people the arts of fiber! I can show people how to knit, crochet, sew, or embroider.
I would like to learn how to throw pottery on a wheel, build furniture, or how to weave baskets. I'm pretty much open to any kind of creative learning!
