ABOUT ME

I am ready to help, I only ask people to say straightforwardly what they want and what they do not want. I am not a mind reader, mind you. :-)

A retired librarian, like to communicate with people, understand other cultures.

Right now I'm studying Russian, so I would be happy to find a family in ethnic
Russia which could and would 'adopt' me for a few weeks. (I would help them and
would buy my own food.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Writing letters, guiding foreign visitors, having
visitors (I only have one room available, with
other people living there). In the near future I
would like to visit Russia to practice my Russian
and to get to know more of the country, the culture
and the people.

I've had visitors but haven't visited anyone.

Hard to say. Recently I've read a lot of books and
seen a lot of movies but in the original language or with subtitles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Writing poems in languages I don't know. Putting up a virtual dance school on Google--these are amazing enough, aren't they? :-)

Friendship, some Hungarian cuisine and, of course, guiding around Budapest.
