ABOUT ME

I'm an artist and a programmer. As a programmer, I currently work on a fast-growing and vry useful website (this one). Art-wise I work mainly in film and video but also sculpture. Some of my work is available on Vimeo. Here's a little animation I did with my sister:

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to couch surfing via the internet. Have done it in the past but always with friends of friends.

Interests

I have broad interests, from Japanese architecture to stargazing and astronomy to learning to speak German better. And I love programming.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like film---especially experimental film, like the early ones made by European surrealists, but also more recent ones like Tarkovsky (Mirror). I play keyboards for my own enjoyment: Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Bartok, etc. I tend to read serious subjects: critical theory or science but really liked the Harry Potter books.

Teach, Learn, Share

Actually, I love teaching. Taught art and digital media at college level for several years. I also teach at BAVC here in SF, when time allows.
